Saturday, Aug 20th, 2005 at 6:30pm; John Connerton is a local singer, guitarist and songwriter who has been performing for over 20 years. His repertoire includes traditional finger-style guitar tunes, 50’s style feel-good love songs, original humor and novelty songs, as well as more thoughtful and introspective contemporary style original works, some of which are pretty good. John is often accompanied by various friends who owe him favors and also by his far more talented and better looking offspring, who provide percussion, guitar, bass and back-up vocals. He is also said to have once played the harmonica, but this may be only a rumor.
